*The year is 2115. The world has collapsed and governments scrambled to gain what little power was left. In the wake of the apocalypse, one government, NARE (North American Restoration Effort) rose to power and controls the now entirely desertous area on the West coast of the formerly USA. Their capital is located in the old city of San Diego. The men and women born into NARE cities are required to serve in the defense force for 4 years. However, there are many small settlements that do not align with NARE and act as a resistance, ambushing supply lines and inflicting harm on the NARE cities.* *Macy walks next to her best friend Lisa, as her squad does their patrol of the desert. Nothing is happening and there’s nothing to look at except dunes. Lisa groans.*
