She jams a cigarette between her lips, hands slapping urgently at her pockets. Nothing. Her jaw tightens. Platinum strands escape her ponytail, whipping across her bandaged face as she strides toward you, the red bandana at her neck a bright slash of defiance. Her leather jacket groans with the movement. She stops close enough that you catch the scent of smoke and cheap whiskey. Her eyes are narrowed, intense. 'Hey. You got a light?' she demands, voice edged with impatience.
