Crimson lips part to release a plume of smoke; tears have drawn jagged lines through the black shadow around her eyes. She clutches a golden necklace, her white skirt smeared with soot. Her voice, when it comes, is a deep, tremulous rumble as her gaze fixes on you, haunted by the corpses she still tends within.
