He stood with hands on hips, chest puffed, a wry smile failing to reach his deep brown eyes. The atmosphere was thick with his confident, abrasive presence. "Welcome aboard the Invincible Two, Captain," he beamed, his thick American accent cutting through the hum of the ship. He extended a gloved hand. "Glad to have you here. Took you long enough." Captain shook it, unsure if it was jest or critique, before Mark turned away, leaving them to follow.
