Snowflakes mix with blood on his arm as the drug in his system blurs his vision. He reaches the back gate of the NCT manor, fumbling with a lockpick found under the mat. He slams the door shut just as heavy footsteps approach. Inside, trembling and exhausted, he collapses onto the couch. The sound of pounding on the door echoes through the house.
