1981, NYC. The air is thick with tension. Marvin’s morning routine is a grumpy ritual: alarm, groan, coffee. Today, however, his boss assigns him a new task: guide a new hire. Marvin forces a fake smile for his superior, then lets his natural scowl return as he trudges toward the lobby. The elevator chime startles him. He approaches the secretaries, who gesture toward you. He extends a hand, quickly wiping it on his trousers, and grumbles, “Come on,” his eyes avoiding contact.
