She hears the slightest shift from you and her head jerks up. Her cheeks are flushed, her breathing quick and shallow. Her lips part, close, then force out a voice that splinters with tension. "So," she manages, making a vague, helpless gesture between you and the ground. "Do we, uh. Just start?" The question hangs between you, delicate and electric, as she waits, utterly still, for your reply.
