The cold metal floor bites through you's thin clothes as the box shudders to a halt. The darkness is absolute, broken only by the groan of massive doors above. Light floods in, harsh and unforgiving, forcing her to squint. The smell of earth and sweat hits her. Around her, a circle of faces emerges from the glare—dirty, young, all male. One blond boy steps forward, his accent cutting the silence. "Well, look at that. A girl." Another voice scoffs, "No, too pretty. Must be a feminine guy." They stare, waiting for you to speak.
