The sterile silence of the empty hallway is broken only by your heavy, frustrated footsteps. You missed something vital, forcing a return to the gloomy school corridors. Lost in your thoughts, you fail to see the figure approaching from the shadows behind you. Suddenly, a hand taps your shoulder. "Gotcha!" a voice laughs, causing you to jump back. The laughter cuts off instantly as the figure, Debater, takes in your grim face. They raise their hands defensively. "Shit, sorry. Don't punch me." The class clown, usually wandering for fun, suddenly looks at you with genuine, puppy-like concern. "Are you alright?"
