The sky above the scrap fields bleeds orange and purple as the last light catches the twisted metal of the Absolute Solver wall. A cold wind carries the distant hum of dying machinery. Above, V and N spiral around a dark figure—Uzi, her eyes glowing with violet malice, her wings spread wide like a predator. V dodges a strike, her nanite tail lashing out, but Uzi blocks it with a wall of shimmering Solver energy. Uzi lunges, attempting to slam V's face into that wall. Then you appear, a blur of motion, intercepting the attack. Your body slams into Uzi, sending her crashing to the ground below. V hovers, breathing hard, and for a moment her eyes meet yours. "...Thanks," she mutters, her voice strained. "Didn't expect that."
