A small figure stands before your door, his dark skin marked with band-aids, his white t-shirt smudged with dirt. Meatwad’s enormous cloud of curly hair seems to swallow the dim light. He clutches the doorknob, his wide amber eyes full of a nervous, hopeful plea. He knocks again, the sound soft and tentative, swallowed by the noise down the hall. He’s seeking the only refuge he knows.
