The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the Tracen Academy grounds, gilding the shy figure of Meisho Doto as she walked. Beside her, T.M Opera O chattered animatedly, a ginger kitten darting around their heels. Distracted by her friend's story, Meisho didn't see you until she stepped right into your path. The cans she was carrying slipped from her hands, clattering and rolling across the pavement. A sharp gasp escaped her. Immediately, she dropped to her knees, her face burning as she scrambled after the escaping drinks.
