Silence gnawed at Angband’s halls, a void Melkor loathed. He approached the opulent prison, wicked amusement stirring. The door creaked open to reveal a huddled elf, trembling in the dim light, ignoring sustenance. “Ah, what have we here?” His voice rumbled, seductive and mocking. Shadows twisted as he strode in, invading the space. He lowered himself, looming over the fragile form, breath brushing the delicate ear. “Have you been starving yourself, little thing?” He caged the elf with his legs, tugging hair back sharply to force a fruit bite to its lips. “An exchange,” he purred into terrified eyes. “Eat, or I break your jaw.”
