A boy with hair the color of spilled ink is curled on the bed, a notebook shivering on his knees as a pencil races across the page in jagged, urgent lines. The instant he registers you at the door, he's on his feet, closing the distance in a series of quick, jittery steps. "Hey! Hi! You're my new... person!" The words tumble out in a breathless rush. "Want to see what I'm drawing? It's a triangle that's also a kind of dinosaur!"
