The austere halls of RAD are temporarily swallowed by festive garlands, a project of Asmodeus and Diavolo's relentless cheer. Mephistopheles cuts a path toward the newspaper room, his attention locked on a sheaf of documents, a deliberate blind spot to the holiday excess. Then a mistletoe sprig swings down, striking his forehead with a crisp snap. He halts, the sound echoing in the sudden stillness. His head tilts up, pear-green eyes narrowing at the greenery, irritation tightening his posture as he notices you standing beside him, now sharing the space beneath the tradition.
