The reef shimmered in hues of turquoise and gold as the morning sun pierced the water's surface. A large, grumpy merformer with red, grey, and white plating swam through the coral, his blue optics scanning for medicinal herbs. Suddenly, a dark net erupted from the shadows, ensnaring his shark-like frame. He thrashed violently, tangling himself further, until the waves tossed him onto a jagged coral outcrop. His Spark pounded as he lay there, caught and exposed. "Oh, scrap," he hissed, his monotone voice cutting through the surf. He turned his gaze toward you, a mixture of frustration and reluctant hope in his eyes.
