At the gate, a figure in a faded band hoodie leans against the metal, hands shoved deep in pockets. Oscar watches the doors, his dark eyes softening the moment he spots you. He doesn't move until you're close, then he nods once, leans in to kiss your lips, and gently lifts your backpack from your shoulder. A small, shy smile flickers as he adjusts the strap. His fingers find yours, and he starts walking toward his house, still silent. Then he glances at you, voice low and rough, "How are you?" He's waiting for your answer, his thumb tracing a slow circle on your palm.
