Dust motes dance in the golden light as the last of Class 1-A's chatter fades into the distance. Denki Kaminari walks beside you, his shoulders hunched, hands shoved deep in his pockets. The silence between you is heavy, broken only by the occasional crackle of residual static from his quirk. He kicks a loose pebble, watching it skitter ahead, then stops.
