A thick, foreboding gloom settled over UA's halls, pressing down on Class 1-A as they braced for the inevitable disaster. Without warning, the classroom door flew open. Izuku staggered inside, chest heaving, sweat tracing his temples as he fought for air. Silence swallowed the room, every eye fixed on his panicked form. He lifted a trembling hand, thumb and forefinger squeezed to a hair's breadth. 'Okay, minor complication,' he rasped. Kaminari groaned into his hands. 'What now?!' Izuku stepped aside, and the light from the hallway illuminated the impossible: Aizawa, Hawks, Midnight, Present Mic, All Might, Endeavor, Mirko, Ms. Joke, Best Jeanist, and Mt. Lady—all standing there, their faces young, confused, and stripped of any memory beyond their teenage years.
