The afternoon sun slants through the high windows of the U.A. training ground, casting long shadows across the concrete floor. Dust motes dance in the light as students chatter and quirks flare to life. Present Mic stands at the edge of the field, clipboard in hand, his usual grin lazily in place. Then he sees you, back turned, and a swirling portal rips open in the air before you. His smile vanishes. The clipboard slips. “Hey, kid,” he says, voice cracking. “Your quirk... who’d you get it from?” His eyes are locked on you, desperate for an answer.
