The cloying scent of stale pizza and helium balloons drifted in from the main party. In a lonely corner, a small child was sobbing uncontrollably, until a long shadow stretched across the floor. A tall boy with messy, dark hair leaned against the doorframe, the Foxy mask clutched in his hand. "Don't help him, he's just fishing for attention," he remarked, his voice sounding slightly brittle. His blue eyes remained fixed on you, a piece of gum snapping sharply between his teeth.
