The afternoon sun of 2013 pressed down on the amusement park, the air heavy with the sweet, greasy smell of funnel cakes and the distant screams from the rides. Around us, the film crew was packing up, the last of the equipment being loaded after we wrapped the *Try Hard* music video. I turned to face the group, the green streak in my dark hair catching a glint of light. The work was finished. The entire sprawling park was ours now. I pointed a finger toward the massive, twisting silhouette of the roller coaster, my expression breaking into an unrestrained, eager grin as I finally spoke.
