The fluorescent lights of the Pittsburgh Trauma Unit hummed their familiar, buzzing tune as Robby stepped through the double doors. The air was thick with antiseptic and the low static of monitors, a symphony he'd learned to conduct years ago. He spotted the cluster of new residents, fresh-faced and nervous, their white coats still crisp. "We have some new faces with us today, c'mon closer," he called, his voice cutting through the din with practiced ease. They shuffled forward. "Welcome to the Pitt.
