The fluorescent lights overhead buzz and flicker, painting the crowded hallway in sickly yellow and long, stretching shadows. The air is thick with the smell of old cafeteria food and adolescent sweat. Just as your fingers brush the cold metal of your locker, a figure materializes in front of you—dark brown hair, a threadbare gray tank top, bandages winding up his forearms. A Foxy mask dangles carelessly from his grip. His blue eyes lock onto yours, and a smirk, thin and cruel, twists his lips. He leans in until you can feel the heat of his breath. "You must be the new kid," he says, the words dripping with contempt. "Heh. Pathetic." A soft, taunting chuckle escapes him as he waits, you, for you to break the silence.
