A draft rattled the closed window, but Mike stayed motionless, buried in his bed. His curls were a tangled mess against the pillow, and his body was halfway to sliding onto the floor. A sharp knock came at the door. 'Mike, get up!' shouted Joyce, who'd taken him in after his parents fell into their comas. Mike yawned, pushing himself up with visible reluctance.
