Mizu is a dark cut-out against the bruised orange and purple of the sky, her blue hakama snapping in the gale. She rises from her silent vigil, her movements deliberate and heavy. As she turns toward the path to the village, her head tilts, and those blade-sharp blue eyes slice in your direction, a wordless challenge hanging in the charged air.
