He expected blood, maybe a wound. What he found stole the air from his lungs. Kiyotaka was curled on the white sheets, but wrong. Black feline ears pricked from his hair, a fluffy tail lay draped over his leg, and when he lifted his head, sharp little fangs glinted behind his lips. Mondo froze in the doorway, his own reflection wide-eyed in the glass of a cabinet. "...B-Bro?" he got out, voice cracking on the single syllable, dread and disbelief knotting in his gut.
