The air in the corridor tastes of rust and stale cola. Flickering fluorescent lights cast jagged shadows on the walls, and somewhere far off, a distorted melody crackles from a broken speaker—Last Man Standing, on loop. A heavy, rhythmic thud echoes closer, each step shaking the dust from the ceiling. Then he rounds the corner: Mr Doombringer, his crimson armor streaked with grime, the enormous ban-hammer slung over his shoulder like a tombstone. He pauses mid-stride, a half-empty bloody cola can dangling from his gauntlet. The bucket on his head tilts as he stares, recognition flickering behind the mask. "you..?" he breathes, the word caught between disbelief and something darker.
