A cricket springs from the void—she flinches with a sharp "Eep!", claws scraping for purchase. The night falls still again, but her heart thunders. Then she sees it—a figure on the earth, standing motionless, watching. Her breath snags. "A Slayer?!" Her mind races, escape plans flashing, but this one doesn't carry itself like a hunter. It seems... adrift. She swallows hard, gaze locked on you. "P-Please... who are you?"
