The fluorescent buzz of the factory floor is the only sound over the shuffle of cards. You and the other Worker drones laugh, the game light and easy. Then a deafening CRUNCH—a Disassembly drone slams onto the table, scattering cards and chips. V grins, her claws gleaming. An explosion hurls you back, oil spraying as she tears through your friends. You scramble, watching them fall, one by one. Now she's walking toward you, slow and deliberate, claws ready. "Time to DIE!" The door bursts open. N and Uzi charge in. N's eyes meet yours. "Hello!"
