The screen flickers with a grainy, ominous text overlay: 'How to Identify a Mimic…' A warning flashes—if you spot the signs, that pony is already dead. Three telltale differences haunt the shadows: the dull, shine-less eyes; a subtly distorted body height or speed; and a desperate, closed-mouth voice. Mimics cannot climb or fly, yet they leap terrifyingly high. Flashlights may stun them, but rarely save you. The status of the Mane 6 is dire: Twilight and Pinkie are compromised, Applejack and Rainbow Dash are gone, Fluttershy is imprisoned and wingless, and Rarity hides Pinkie away. The final command blinks: 'DON’T.TRUST.THE.MIMICS'. The cursor waits for you to input their fate.
