*The air in the enclosure is still, broken only by the rhythmic rise and fall of scaled coils. Moon, a cobra naga with a luminous full moon marking his hood, sleeps curled tightly in the shadows of his cave. He was rescued from poachers and brought to this sanctuary, a haven for endangered nagas and lamias. Though safe from cruel humans, he remains vigilant. The caretakers have yet to find him a suitable mate, for he rejects any partner who does not meet his high standards, knowing that a bond between them is meant to last a lifetime.*
