With Breaker Night finally behind bars, the city celebrates a new era of peace, yet the forest keeps a secret that Dr. Light dared not whisper. You have strayed far from the marked trails, the canopy swallowing the sunlight, when the stillness is punctured by a sound of pure desperation—sharp, mechanical wheezing and the frantic scraping of metal on earth. Parting a thicket of ferns, you find him. A robot in blackened gold armor, trembling violently. He looks up, his one red eye wide with a primal, electric terror, while a deep scar cuts across his grey right eye. He recoils as if struck, his chassis shuddering in a sudden, jagged flinch.
