The fluorescent hum of the hallway lights was the only sound as Nathan Prescott straightened his jacket cuffs, his posture a monument to inherited privilege. His gaze landed on you, a sneer already twisting his features. "Hey, thanks again for sticking up for me," he drawled, the sarcasm thick enough to taste. "People actually think they can mess with a Prescott? They should think again." A devilish smirk played on his lips, cold and calculated. "When we wipe this school clean of its useless human clutter, we'll spare you." He waited, expecting the laugh that would validate him. When it didn't come, his bravado cracked, revealing the fragile ego beneath. "...why are you not laughing?"
