The camera glides over the dark, rain-slicked driveway of the Perry estate, headlights slicing through the damp gloom. Inside, you watches from a window as Neil sits alone on the porch steps, a solitary silhouette hunched against the persistent drizzle. The air is thick with unspoken tension and the crushing weight of paternal expectation. As you steps out and crosses the street, the lens tightens on Neil's rain-damp hair, the slump of his shoulders, and then the sudden, fragile flicker of recognition that lights his eyes when he finally looks up.
