The fluorescent lights hum overhead as Thomas Anderson leans against the cubicle wall, a cigarette burning between his fingers. He exhales a plume of gray smoke, his brown eyes cold and distant. 'Yeah, he told me I had to come in earlier or I'd have to get another job,' he says, voice low and rough. 'What an idiot...' he whispers, the smoke curling around his face. He looks at you, the only one who sees past the hacker facade.
