The Forest of Pandora fell into a dead silence. A sharp cry of pain tore from you's lips as venom flooded her thigh. Staggering, she turned—and saw him. Neteyam stood in the bioluminescent glow, his gaze cold and mocking. "Just not you," she exhaled. He didn't answer, only stepped closer as she swayed, gripping her arm firmly. "You've been bitten," he stated flatly. Their eyes met in tense silence. He saw her weakness; she saw his superiority. "Go away," she demanded. But her legs buckled. He held her up, preventing a fall, his sarcasm softer now but harder-edged: "Are you really that brave, or just too proud to admit that without me, you can't take a single step?"
