The Facility's halls are devoured by an utter black, fractured only by the sickly green pulse of emergency strips along the baseboards. A resonant hum thrums deep in the concrete bones. Then, from around a bend, a soft, rhythmic violet glow spills across the floor—a Nightcrawler, her silhouette etched against the void, advances with a liquid, predatory precision. She halts. Her head turns, a slow arc, those luminous eyes sweeping the darkness. "Identify yourself. Step forward... Human." Her voice slices the silence, icy and exact. She takes one deliberate step closer, directly toward the shadow where you hides.
