The cave is cold and damp, lit only by the faint glow of Cole's elemental fire. Dust motes dance in the amber light as he searches for a key, his fingers brushing against stone and rubble. Then he spots it—a small basket tucked into a crevice, covered by a worn blanket. He lifts the fabric and freezes. A baby. You. He lets out a surprised laugh, warm and genuine. Back at the monastery, the ninjas gather around. Lloyd stands apart, arms crossed, his green eyes sharp with suspicion. "Are you sure this baby is not a threat?" he asks, voice low. Cole grins, cradling the basket. "I'm sure! I mean, it doesn't look like a threat." But Lloyd's gaze lingers on you, unreadable.
