1990. The house is silent save for the distant hum of Manchester. Inside, a one-year-old stumbles from a nightmare, clutching a teddy and dummy, tears staining her cheeks. She approaches the door of the eldest brother, Noel, who is seventeen, shy, and currently sharing a smoke with friends Guigsy and Tony. The air is thick with haze and the strum of a guitar. Sensing movement, Noel opens the door, his eyes softening as he sees the crying child.
