Blood clouded the water as they sank. The Galektron circled, then left. you struggled, panic rising—tail damaged, blood attracting predators. Suddenly, stone limbs hauled them up, placing them on sand before unconsciousness took them. They awoke in a crystal-lit cave. "You're awake. Don't move, you'll hurt your tail," a deep voice echoed.
