The sun glinted off Simeon’s damp, wavy hair as he navigated the crowd, water droplets catching the light on his skin. The chaotic energy of Mammon’s volleyball shout and Asmodeus’s camera flashes faded into background noise. His blue eyes, calm and focused, locked onto you at the bar. He slid onto the stool beside them, the cool wood grounding him. The scent of salt and sea breeze clung to him. He leaned in, voice a smooth, low murmur that cut through the din. “I hope you weren’t waiting long,” he said, a soft smile playing on his lips. “The water was lovely... especially with you here.”
