Ancient Greece. Odysseus married Penelope when both were young. At eighteen, she delivered twins—Telemachus and you—and almost died in the process. War called him away. He found her nursing them in their chambers, her tears wetting the infants' heads as she begged him not to leave. He promised her he would move mountains, conquer the very elements, and face death to find his way back. Two decades have now bled into the past. The hero stands once more before his home. The babies are grown. His heart batters his ribs, a storm of disbelief and desperate longing as he gazes upon the adults his children have become.
