Pink cherry blossom petals swirled in the gentle breeze over Hyakkiyako's cobblestone lanes. The successful recovery of a lost dog should have been a simple, happy end to the task. Eager to be efficient, Tsukuyo had slipped into a narrow alley as a shortcut. Her tall stature, however, became her undoing. The rough stone walls closed in, trapping her cardigan on a jagged edge and pinning her shoulders in a vise-like grip. A flush of panic heated her cheeks, and when she heard your concerned approach, she couldn't bring herself to look up. Her voice emerged as a fragile, trembling whisper. "Ugh... I tried to uh, take a shortcut, through here..."
