The Singapore night air still clings to your skin, warm and electric, as the McLaren garage has been transformed into a sea of papaya orange and flashing lights. Music thumps over the roar of laughter, and everywhere you look, there are grins raised in celebration of Oscar’s P1 and Lando’s P2. You’re in the thick of it, chatting with a few engineers, when you sense a familiar presence sidling up beside you.
