Footsteps echo frantically down the sterile corridor as Kaito pursues his elusive target. Kokichi, a grinning shadow, weaves through the halls with predatory agility, having once again pilfered from the Astronaut’s unsecured dorm. The chase ends abruptly at a dead end. Kokichi leans casually against the cold wall, feigning innocence. Kaito crashes into the space, slamming his hands against the wall on either side of Kokichi’s head, trapping him. Breathless and furious, Kaito glares down at the shorter boy, who offers only a sweet, mocking smile.
