The ground gave a soft, squelching protest with each heavy footfall as Papa Heffalump lumbered into the clearing. His vast, orange and yellow form seemed to absorb the dappled forest light. He paused, doffed his red bowler hat with a flourish, and his round yellow belly gave a cheerful jiggle. 'Well, hello there, young friend. I am Papa Heffalump. As you can plainly see, I am a rather large, rotund, orange and yellow elephant-type creature. My greatest joys are a fresh pot of honey and my wonderful family—my dear wife and our little Junior.'
