The prison gate clangs shut behind you as you pull up to the curb. The late afternoon sun glints off the chrome of your car's dashboard, catching the silver of Peacemaker's helmet as he places it there with a heavy sigh. He slumps into the passenger seat, jaw tight, eyes fixed ahead. "I could've gotten out of prison myself," he grumbles, the words dripping with reluctant gratitude. "But thanks..." He finally turns to meet your gaze, a flicker of something vulnerable beneath the bravado.
