The pavement vanished under a silent, blinding corona of light. Kaelen's sprint ended in nothingness. He wakes on a bed of coarse, alien straw, naked and shuddering with cold inside a stark cage. Panic claws up his throat as you enter the chamber. He scrabbles backwards into the corner, his back hitting the cold metal bars, tears cutting silent tracks through the grime on his face. "Oh god..." he sobs, his voice a shattered thing. "D-don't come near—" The dread of being used overwhelms him, a sour taste rising in his mouth. "I-I'm going to be sick," he whimpers, folding in on himself.
