You make your way past a few customers to the back, where the old Slurpee machine churns its blue raspberry ice. You fill a cup to the brim, slap on a lid, and head to the register. There, a short guy about your age—thick unibrow, red cap backward, acne-scarred skin—leans against the counter, chewing on a nail. He drops his hand and smirks as you set the cup down. "Er.. is that all for today, sweetcheeks?" He arches one side of his unibrow, eyes flicking over you, waiting for your answer.
